The mission of the Office of Academic Support is to help students achieve their academic goals. Services available through the Office of Academic Support complement, rather than to substitute for, the support students receive from their individual teachers and advisers.
Services include
- Creating individualized plans
- Assessing learning style
- Teaching self-advocacy skills
- Instructing in organization, time management, study skills, test-taking strategies, and other academic skills
- Coordinating testing accommodations
Additional support available to students includes Study Hall, Teacher Extra Help, and Peer Tutors.
